Hi, I’m Lizzie- Founder of Lizzie’s Rebel Curls. My career in the beauty industry began in 2006, when I started working as a receptionist in a salon while attending college. As I watched the stylists work their magic, I fell in love with the craft and knew I had found my passion in hair design. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into an apprenticeship program, where I worked my way up and truly found my place in this industry. Education has always been important to me, and I am committed to constantly improving my skills. Over the years, I have earned numerous certifications and have specialized in color and precision haircuts. In 2018, I took a trip to New York City and got certified at the Ouidad {The Curl Experts} flagship salon. My passion for curls and natural textured hair deepened, and I became a curl expert! This changed the trajectory of my career, and I am now proud to serve as an artistic educator for the Ouidad brand, helping others grow in their skills and passion just as I have grown into mine. What drives me is the connection I get to make with each client. I believe in creating a welcoming, personalized experience and doing everything I can to help people feel confident and beautiful. Now, I am thrilled to be starting a new chapter with my own business- Lizzie’s Rebel Curls. It’s a space where I can fully express my creativity and give each client the one on one attention that they deserve.
